This course is designed especially for the absolute beginner and those wishing to do a refresher course in the basics of flower arranging. Here we cover all the basic designs used in flower arranging. The course consists of six lessons which includes a glass vase of flowers, posy bowl, front-facing arrangement, country basket, spiral bunch with special wrap and modern rose arrangement. This course gives you a good base from which to branch out into more creative designs. It is hands-on and all materials, flowers and equipment are supplied at the classes. You take home what you have made. Notes are supplied and a certificate is presented on completion of course.

Here you are exposed to all types of accessories and products that a creative flower arranger would need to know about. It is also an excellent course to do if you are planning to do weddings and functions, as this course give plenty of ideas for table flowers and the like. It has proven very popular. This is just the course you have been waiting for if you like giving gifts or are in a business that sells hampers. You will make a Teatime hamper, a Gourmet Basket, a Kiddies Sweetie basket, wrap a bottle of wine/juice, a Pamper Hamper, a Baby hamper, Fruit & Flowers, a Planter basket and wrap a single plant. In addition to this we learn to make all kinds of bows i.e organza, satin, paper, pom-poms, etc and even a ribbon rose. You go home laden with the above hampers.The course consists of six lessons and is hands-on and most materials, flowers and equipment are supplied. You will be requested to bring some own products to add to hampers. Notes are supplied and a certificate is presented on completion of course.

This is an introduction to basic bridal floristry. The skills and techniques that are learnt at this course can be used to expand into more modern bridal work. Various basic styles of bridal bouquets are made: parallel handtie, Spiral handtie, teardrop in bridie holder, as well as corsage, buttonhole, full size traditional bridal table arrangement and large upright church display. You must preferably have completed a beginner's course as we build on previous skills acquired. The course consists of six lessons and is hands-on and all materials, flowers and equipment are supplied. You take home what you have made. ALL COURSES are comprised of six lessons. Saturday Courses run over two Saturdays - full days.
Weekday Courses run over three consecutive days in the evenings
or are full day courses over two days.
Courses for October and November have been scheduled. These will take place at various venues around Cape Town suburbs, mainly at supplier pemises.
